Study Club
Seattle Study Club, Inc. is an international network of doctors interested in furthering their knowledge to provide excellent care to each and every patient that comes into their practice. The Seattle Study Club model was developed by Dr. Michael Cohen DDS MSD FACD over 25 years ago, and there are now over 250 clubs in the network located in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, China, and Spain.
Each club is facilitated by a dental practitioner who meets regularly with club members for interactive educational programs, discussions on the latest developments in dentistry, and presentations by world-renowned clinical speakers. These meetings provide a forum for each member doctor to discuss and plan cases with the collective knowledge of the entire group.
The doctors and members of their clubs are dedicated to the advancement of team treatment planning and total case management as the ultimate tool for achieving ideal comprehensive care. They have also committed themselves to excellence in their profession and in the management of their practices.
We are often asked what makes the Seattle Study Club so unique and special. For those who are part of the network, it’s clear—but also difficult to articulate. The Seattle Study Club organization provides a variety of tangible tools to manage a study club, but that isn’t what makes it so special. The Seattle Study Club model provides so much more than continuing education for dentists. The network is a true “university without walls” and allows you to create one of your own in your community. We cultivate knowledge, understanding, collaboration, and camaraderie, and together we continue to impact the way dentistry is practiced. These intangible benefits elevate the Seattle Study Club network to a level that goes far beyond traditional continuing educational programs in dentistry.
The Seattle Study Club organization works every day to help our members strengthen their practices, enhance relationships with peers, and increase impact on the dental community. We generate dozens of new ideas every year to help our members accomplish their goals. Our local clubs offer educational experiences that exceed the highest expectations of excellence.
