My experience at Sandhills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was the very BEST I have ever experienced, in ANY dental, surgical or medical office setting. The office staff were thorough, professional, helpful and polite. Dr. Jones, the oral surgeon, was, without question, the finest example of a dental/medical professional that I have ever encountered. He was patient, thorough ,kind, compassionate and an extremely capable communicator. His surgical skills were amazing (having had a long history of dental procedures in my lifetime). It's rare, to have received such competent and professional treatment in a surgical setting. I felt CARED FOR, on both a personal AND a professional level, and knew that I was in very good hands, from the moment he walked into the exam room. I have already recommended this practice to all my family and friends, and will continue to do so. Dr. Jones - and his staff - took great care to explain all aspects of my treatment and care, and actually TALKED with me (not AT me), the entire visit. Doctor/patient TRUST is, in my humble opinion, at the heart of wellness, treatment and healing. This was my experience at Sandhills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery...and I remain impressed...and genuinely grateful.

I had a terrible experience with dental specialist in the past until my general dentist referred me to Dr. Jones. I was nervous at first but after the first visit I felt pretty comfortable. I've been through 3 different surgeries and very please with every single one of them. The staff, service and care are all beyond words. I highly recommend this office to all people.

i had a wonderful experience. I had six teeth pulled and bone loss, only a small amount of pain. Next is implants. Dr. Gary Jones is a great oral surgeon. He does awesome work. His staff is very sweet. The day of my surgery they were nice and put me at ease. I would highly recommend Gary Jones!!

It is a well-known fact that most people, including myself, hate going to the dentist! I had originally chosen the path to be put to sleep while Dr. Jones extracted my cracked tooth. When I arrived at Sandhills Oral, he sat down directly in front of me and explained all of my options for having the tooth pulled. Before my appointment, I was very scared and nervous as I am 62 years old and disabled. However, Dr. Jones had such a calming effect and was so confident in his work that I began to feel safe and my nerves eased up a bit. He was so good that I even opted out of being put to sleep & only went with local anesthesia, an option I hadn’t even considered before hand! Dr. Jones was wonderful and accommodated my needs so well that I would recommend him to anyone!
