Biography

Dr. Kenneth B. Carey hails from Bonners Ferry Idaho. He graduated with Honors from Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry and received the dental student award for excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Following graduation, he completed residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Womack Army Medical Center. Since graduation he has served as Program Director for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training Program at Womack Army Medical Center, Department Chair for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, and has served as head on the interview committee for Advanced Education in Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training for the United States Army. He currently serves as affiliate faculty for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Fort Bragg NC. He is on staff at Cape Fear Medical Center and Womack Army Medical Center. He practices full Scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is transitioning to private practice with Dr. Gary T. Jones, at Sandhills Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
